Pitchio is an event made up of 5-minute theatre-maker pitches and 2-5-minute venue pitches aimed at sharing new ideas and encouraging the connections to make them happen. Pitches will come from theatre-makers, producers and venues in a spirit of openness and collaboration, ensuring it’s a valuable event whether you’re pitching or not.
The event will represent both established and newer voices aiming to tour across a range of scales, genres and audiences. It should provide an opportunity for both parties to discuss artistic plans 12-24 months in advance of the production stage and for promoters/venues/producers to feedback and express their interest.
Those wishing to take part will need to complete a simple application and go through a selection process.
